APEC ICT Model School Network was established to explore the international cooperative activities among APEC member economies’ excellent ICT-applied schools. In this network, cultural interchange activities between the two members, Jinnam Girls’ Middle School in Korea and Novaliches High School in Philippines, have been displaying noticeable improvement. Jinnam Girls’ Middle School in Korea has already visited Philippines last February and caught the attention from the local press for their ICT related and cultural interchange classes. Also, Jinnam Girls’ Middle School has performed many exemplary deeds in the area of international educational collaboration like donations to Korea-Philippines Ministry of Education and Quezon city hall library. After these activities providing a firm foundation of the exchange program, Jinnam Girls’ Middle School is planning to establish a teachers club for Korean and Philippine teachers. In addition, after a consultation with the city of Yeosu, they intend to host exchange students from Philippines to the ‘International Youth Festival’ which is sponsored by Yeosu every year.
