The 27th APEC Human Resources Development Working Group Meeting was convened in Pattaya, Thailand, from June 20 - 24. With starting from the opening ceremony, each of network meetings was advanced.
In particular, at the EDNET Meeting, Korean Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development and the Institute of APEC Cyber Education (IACE) delivered the presentations on the three progress reports and one new project proposal.
Mostly, the member economies showed their appreciations for the efforts to promote the ACEN (APEC Cyber Education Network) which was completed in 2003, and the ALCom (APEC Learning Community for Shared Prosperity) which will be maintained with full support of the member economies. In addition, many of member economies mentioned their intention to support the project and participate in main activities of the project. Especially, the new project, APEC E-Learning Training Program was supported by 11 economies and got endorsement.
